Pyramid Eye

If there was a gold mine in the middle of the desert,
And someone said to you,
You can have all you can take, if you think,
You can make it through.
The scorching sun,
And the long hot run,
To get there, and if you do,
Could you make it out of the desert,
With the weight bearing down on you?

Money is made of paper and metal,
But I am made of flesh and blood,
I used to have a reason for livin',
Oh…but I forgot what it was.

E Pluribus Unum.
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum.
You all worship the Pyramid eye.

E Pluribus Unum,
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum,
You all worship the Pyramid eye.

They took all of the money it would take to feed the poor,
They took it and they built a church to the Lord,
And every Sunday the pastor prays for them.
He's the best that money can afford.
And if you give enough it could save you soul,
So, take your money to the collection bowl,
But 30 pieces of silver,
Is all that it will hold.

Money is made of paper and metal,
But I am made of flesh and blood,
I used to have a reason for livin',
Oh…but I forgot what it was.

E Pluribus Unum.
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum.
You all worship the Pyramid eye.

E Pluribus Unum,
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum,
You all worship the Pyramid eye.

In the distance hear that whistle blow,
I hear that whistle and I gotta go,
I gotta go welcome the train.
Can you hear the wheels whaling as it rolls,
Fills with lost abandoned souls,
And the conductor is insane.

Money is made of paper and metal,
But I am made of flesh and blood,
I used to have a reason for livin',
Oh…but I forgot what it was.

E Pluribus Unum.
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum.
You all worship the Pyramid eye.

E Pluribus Unum,
Yeah, but who's your God,
E Pluribus Unum,
You all worship the Pyramid eye.
